The song “Tonight” highlights guest guitarist Philip Eric Xenidis – best known as Phil X – a musician and songwriter that has been recording and touring with Bon Jovi since he replaced the former lead guitarist Richie Sambora in 2016. “Tonight” was written by Las Vegas singer/songwriter Patrick Vitagliano. This is the second song written by Vitagliano for the pop vocalist Jones; the first was the heartfelt ballad “What the Heart Don’t Know” which reached the number 3 spot on Amazon music charts in 2018. The song was
recorded in Las Vegas at The Tone Factory recording studio, owned and operated by Vinny Castaldo since 1999. And performing some guest back-up harmonies, choruses, and other vocal textures is local student, 16 yr old Devin Alexander Woodrow, an 11th grader aspiring college med-student at Doral Academy Redrock.
Both the single “Tonight” will be released on all music and video formats on September 25, 2018, followed by the EDM Remix track and video on October 9th.
About Kaya Jones
At age 13, Chrystal Neria, known professionally as Kaya was discovered by R. Kelly and signed to his record
label as an emerging talent. At 16, she formally signed a record deal with Capital Records; and in 2003, she
was signed to the American girl group, the Pussycat Dolls. Songs like “Tainted Love” performed live on VH1
Divas and Fashion Rocks on VH1 helped propel the band to becoming a top female dance pop band for the
new generation. At the age of 26, Jones became the youngest female in history to start her own record label,
HueMan Race Records, and developed her career as a solo artist. Her hit singles include “Hollywood Doll” &
“Take It Off,” both of which became top dance songs throughout the world. Kaya released 3 albums,
“Confessions of a Hollywood Doll” & “Kaya,” & “Rise Of The Phoenix” establishing her as a top EDM
Artist, before releasing the introspective LP titled ‘KAYA – THE CHRYSTAL NERIA ALBUM’ in 2015.
“It’s raw & completely who I am as an artist. Chrystal Neria Is my birth name and choosing to release this
album on my birthday is an honor to that. As an artist I never want to forget who I am at my core. It’s totally
Kaya … Well Chrystal Neria.”, says Kaya about that record. In 2017 Kaya released the single “What The
Heart Don’t Know”, a piano ballad that shot up the chart to #3, pulling ahead of Justin Beiber and Katy Perry,
and held that spot behind Taylor Swift and P!NK. On October 1st 2017, Kaya was onstage with Big & Rich
one hour before the shooting broke out in Las Vegas. This, coupled with death threats she’d been receiving
from ISIS, empowered her to learn to arm and defend herself, learning tactical training from experts including
Navy Seals and Army Rangers. Today, Kaya focuses passionately on being an active and outspoken
conservative, a second amendment advocate, and avid supporter of President Trump. She appears regularly on
Fox News to voice her opinions on her Christian faith and her love for her country, empowering women to
speak up about abuse, and educating people on politics and gun laws.
