A week-long event to celebrate community advocates
LAS VEGAS- November 14, 2017 – The Las Vegas Natural History Museum, 900 Las Vegas Boulevard North, will host a week of “thanks” offering complimentary admission honoring a selection of residents. The Museum Gives Thanks event will take place Nov. 20 and will continue through Nov. 24. The Museum’s regular hours will be honored for this weeklong event – open daily 9 am – 4 pm
The Museum Gives Thanks this week by offering free admission to members of the community. Plus, special science activities will be held from 11 am – 2 pm, daily.
- Monday, November 20 – Boy/Girl Scouts in Uniform are Free
- Tuesday, November 21 – College Students with ID are Free
- Wednesday, November 22 – First Responders (i.e. Police, Firefighters, Paramedics, Nurses, and Doctors) are Free
- Thursday, November 23 – Museum is Closed for Thanksgiving
- Friday, November 24 – Senior Citizens (ages 55+) are Free
“We want to recognize some very important people that make up the backbone of Las Vegas and give a little holiday cheer and thank you,” said Executive Director Marilyn Gillespie.”
As a note, the admission prices at the Museum recently changed:
$12 – Adults
$10 – Seniors (55+), Military (with ID), Students (12+)
$6 – Children (ages 3 – 11)
Free -Children (2 & under), Las Vegas Natural History Museum Members
