LAS VEGAS – March 15, 2016 – Downtown Grand Las Vegas Hotel & Casino will be the hotel of choice for the Annual Las Vegas Valley Firefighters St. Patrick’s Day Invitational Parade and Irish Street Party on Thursday, March 17, 2016. This year’s Grand Marshal for the parade is Las Vegas City Councilman, Bob Beers.

In conjunction with the Terry Farrell Fund Nevada Chapter, the Irish Firefighter parade will begin at noon at the Main Street Stage of Fremont Street Experience. The parade will proceed east on Fremont Street to the 3rd Street Stage where bagpipers and Irish step dancers will perform. The parade will then progress up 3rd Street to the Downtown 3rd area. Once the parade ends, the Irish street party will begin at Downtown Grand located on 3rd Street between Ogden and Stewart and will include Irish themed food, drink, live music, entertainment and more. The 3rd Street neighborhood, including Triple George Grill, Sidebar, The Commissary, Pizza Rock and Hogs & Heifers Saloon, will all be participating in the street party festivities.

Downtown Grand will be kicking off the Las Vegas Valley Firefighters St. Patrick’s Day Invitational Parade with a pre-St. Patrick’s Day evening party at Citrus at the Grand Pool Deck on Wednesday, March 16 from 6 to 10 p.m. Guests will enjoy Irish themed food and drink specials at the urban rooftop pool retreat with skyline views of downtown Las Vegas.
