LAS VEGAS – March 3, 2016 – The first of many new additions to come in 2016, Downtown Grand Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, will debut a new pool experience on Friday, March 4, 2016. Featuring skyline views of downtown Las Vegas, Citrus at the Grand Pool Deck will feature fresh new décor, entertainment, outdoor games, and an all-new menu with weekday specials from 4-7 p.m., doubling as downtown’s newest outdoor happy hour spot. Welcoming the downtown community and all locals, Citrus at the Grand Pool Deck will be open to the public and free to hotel guests and Las Vegas residents age 21 and over.

Boasting 35,000 square feet, Citrus at the Grand Pool Deck is a unique urban rooftop pool retreat featuring an infinity pool, private cabanas, full bar, dining, a fire pit, and grass seating area where guests can lounge or enjoy a variety of activities including foosball, corn hole, table tennis and more. The Citrus concept combines vibrant summer décor in splashes of yellow, green and orange with ornamental verdant trees and foliage, citrus-inspired staff uniforms and new organic herb gardens. An all-new lineup of live entertainment will include weekend DJs, concerts and special events.

Guests can quench their thirst and satisfy their cravings with refreshing new dining options at Citrus at the Grand Pool Deck, served to shaded tables, cabanas or poolside. The menu will feature grilled items as well as light offerings and sweet fare like Minted Frozen Citrus treats and Citrus Signature Slaw, made with fresh ingredients grown poolside in one of 12 organic herb gardens designed in partnership with Desert Urban Homesteading. The entire patio-length bar has been transformed into a massive lemonade stand, featuring freshly squeezed spirit-infused lemonades and signature refreshers, such as the 90 Miles Away, made with lime, mint, grapefruit and white rum; and the Seedless and Spicy, featuring watermelon and tequila with lime and spice. In addition, a special happy hour menu will be available weekdays from 4-7 p.m.

Beginning Friday, March 4, 2016, Citrus at the Grand Pool Deck will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., with extended hours during special events and featured programming. Hotel guests and local residents receive free admission. Citrus at the Grand Pool Deck is also available for private special events for up to 1,200 guests.
