LAS VEGAS – Create A Change Now and The Reset Project enlist some of Las Vegas’ top executive chefs to collaborate and create a specially designed prix fixe menu for its Inspire.Challenge.Engage Dinner on Thursday, March 10 at Booker Elementary. Chefs partnering the event include, Chef de Cuisine Scott Pajak of Emeril’s Lagasse’s Stadium; Executive Chef Marty Lopez of 35 Steaks + Martinis; and local celebrity chef Johnny Church of Artisanal Foods.
“Food and cooking is the singular plane that all of us have in common. Through food we all have a common ground and we all can relate to each other over sharing a meal,” said Marty Lopez, executive chef at 35 Steaks + Martinis. “Educating the youth on how to plant vegetables and produce, and learning how to grow the plants is truly an important and beneficial skill for future generations,” said Lopez.
The family-style dinner will feature harvested produce from Booker Elementary’s edible desert garden as well as crops from local farms such as the Blue Lizard Farm in Lincoln Co. Nev. Inspire.Challenge.Engage is the first of three partnered-events hosted by Create A Change Now and The Reset Project, as a way to bring continuous awareness and health education to families and the community.
Tickets to the Inspire.Challenge.Engage Dinner start at $40 and are available at http://createachangenow.brownpapertickets.com.
