Nevada Reading Week 2016 February 29 – March 4
Donated books will be personally delivered by King to kids in at-risk schools during Mac King’s Magical Literacy Tour: Nevada Reading Week 2016. Each year during Nevada Reading Week, King visits students at local elementary schools to teach the importance of literacy by reading stories and performing tricks from his show. Thanks to King’s book drive, at the end of the assembly each child is able to take a book home with them. For many kids this is the first book they can call their own. Local businesses and organizations interested in joining forces with Mac King by hosting a book drive to benefit Nevada Reading Week 2015 can email Lauren@preferredpublicrelations.com for more information.
