LAS VEGAS – Local charity teaching at-risk students to plant, grow and cook fresh, healthy meals in order to prevent childhood obesity, Create A Change Now, announces its partnership with The Reset Project to bring continuous awareness and health education to families and the community. The pair will host its first educational dinner, Inspire.Challenge.Engage, at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 10 at Kermit Booker Elementary to inspire, challenge and engage participants into learning healthy eating habits. The family-style dinner will feature celebrity chef Johnny Church and his specially designed prix fixe menu highlighting local farms and food artisans.

Developing programs and events to create an active environment with the help of Las Vegas’ top health and wellness leaders, The Reset Project is centered around on building a connected community focused on a healthy mind, body and soul lifestyle. With inspiration and encouragement, The Reset Project challenges individuals, families and children to create simple healthy habits and to rebuild a healthier, positive lifestyle of change for yourself and the community.

“The Reset Project is looking forward to collaborating with Create a Change Now in 2016. As fellow fitness, wellness and change experts we understand that if healthy habits are developed early in life the benefits multiply as you grow,” said James Wong, co-founder of The Reset Project. “The future looks bright with the multitude of smart, progressive and holistic educational platforms that Create a Change Now brings to every school they adopt.”

Create A Change Now continues its mission of tackling childhood obesity with its Healthy School, Healthy Life programs including the Pop Up Produce program and Chef’s in Schools demonstration program, as well as its edible desert gardens at at-risk elementary schools, and now the recent educational partnership with The Reset Project.

Tickets to Inspire.Challenge.Engage Dinner start at $40 and are available at http://createachangenow.brownpapertickets.com.
