Mallory Hanneke joins team as Public Relations Specialist and April Aggacid
serves as Public Relations Administrative Assistant
LAS VEGAS – September 5, 2015 – As the Las Vegas economy continues to grow, opportunities for new clients develop and the need for qualified new staff at Preferred Public Relations (PPR) emerges. As the team at PPR expands with new client and media service teams, PPR proudly announces the hiring of its two newest employees – Mallory Hanneke in the role of Public Relations Specialist and April Aggacid as Public Relations Administrative Assistant.
As a Public Relations Specialist at Preferred Public Relations, Mallory executives PR initiatives for various clients including charities and non-profit organizations such as Opportunity Village and the American Civil Liberties Union of Nevada.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Hanneke moved to Las Vegas in 2013 after completing college and holding multiple marketing and PR internships. With a B.A. in Public Relations, she looked at Las Vegas as the land of opportunity and possibilities. Since relocating, Hanneke has enrolled in a Masters of Business Administration program through Webster University, which she will complete in 2016. Prior to joining the team at Preferred Public Relations, Hanneke spent over two years at Dollar Loan Center, ending as the Media Marketing Manager in which she learned the media landscape of Las Vegas, purchased media buys and helped plan million-dollar events.
In the public relations administrative role, April assists in online and social media efforts, charity and promotional opportunities, media coverage reporting, special event planning and general administrative duties.
Born and raised in Hawaii, Aggacid graduated from Holy Names University, located in the Bay Area of California where she received a B.A. in Criminology with a concentration of Forensic Psychology and a minor in Psychology. After graduating, Aggacid worked as a Public Relations Assistant for Radio Disney and Entercom Communications, both in San Francisco. She later relocated to Las Vegas in 2014 and worked at iHeartMedia as a Brand Ambassador prior to joining the team at Preferred Public Relations.
