LAS VEGAS – American Civil Liberties Union of Nevada (ACLUNV) has chosen Preferred Public Relations (PPR) as its agency of record to initiate public relations efforts. Preferred Public Relations will focus on promoting ACLUNV’s 50th Anniversary Gala taking place in summer 2016, as well as other upcoming events, while spreading awareness of the non-profit’s ideals and key issues.

ACLUNV, the Nevada affiliate of the ACLU, defends and preserves the individual rights and liberties that the Constitution and laws of both the United States and Nevada guarantee every Nevadan. The organization fulfills its mission through advocacy, lobbying, education, and litigation. ACLUNV works to defend and promote equality, liberty, justice and democracy. Preserving the right to free speech, voting rights, privacy protections, freedom of religion, ending mass incarceration, and fighting for the equality of women, and the LGBT community are just a few of the issues they work on.
