Emma Williams joins team as Public Relations Associate and Amanda Venit
serves as Public Relations Administrative Assistant

LAS VEGAS – June 3, 2015 – As the Las Vegas economy continues to grow, opportunities for new clients develop and the need for qualified new staff at Preferred Public Relations (PPR) emerges. As the team at PPR expands with new client and media service teams, PPR proudly announces the hiring of its two newest employees – Emma Williams in the role of Public Relations Associate and Amanda Venit as Public Relations Administrative Assistant.

As a Public Relations Associate at Preferred Public Relations, Emma assists with various clients ranging from non-profit organizations, to restaurants, resorts and casinos including Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, IQ Onsite™, Create a Change Now, the Las Vegas Natural History Museum, The Bones, and Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation.

Born and raised in southeast Michigan, Williams moved to Las Vegas fresh out of college in 2014. With a B.A. in Integrative Public Relations and a minor in Journalism from Central Michigan University, Williams held several communications and public relations internships with MammothReach of Detroit, The Garden Club of PCEP, Allied Integrated Marketing and CBS Films. She was also a contributing writer for HerCampus, C-Mich Chapter, in which she covered food, beverage and home-style recipes.

In the public relations administrative role, Amanda Venit assists in online and social media efforts, charity and promotional opportunities, media coverage reporting, special event planning and general administrative duties.

Venit grew up in Mount Prospect, a northwest suburb of Chicago. She graduated from DePaul University where she received a BA in Communications with a specialization in public relations and advertising. After graduating, Venit interned for a Chicago-based public relations firm where she gained experience in PR agency principles and day-to-day tactics. She later worked for a conference production company where she assisted in email marketing campaigns.
